These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Laetoli platform, the laetoli.africa website, LaetoliHub, and the Laetoli family of applications (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Our consumer health and education apps — including TibaPamoja, TibaFigo, TibaMama, Tiba, TibaAfya and SomaLabs — are provided free of charge for personal use. We intend to keep them free as part of our public-infrastructure mission. Enterprise and clinical products are provided to organizations under separate commercial agreements.

You agree to use the Services lawfully and not to: misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or their infrastructure; reverse engineer or resell the Services except as permitted by law; or use the Services to harm others or violate their rights.

Our health applications are tools to help you organize information and stay informed. They do not provide medical diagnosis and are not a substitute for the advice of a qualified healthcare professional. Always consult a clinician for medical decisions. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

You retain ownership of the information you create in the Services. Because our apps are offline-first, you are responsible for safeguarding your device and any backups you create. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Laetoli name, logos, application names, and software are the property of Laetoli and its licensors. These terms do not grant you any right to use Laetoli branding except as necessary to use the Services as intended.

We work to keep the Services reliable, but we provide them on an “as available” basis. We may add, modify, or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Laetoli is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. The Services are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except where prohibited by law.
